Meet Jacob Downing
Founder & Attorney
Jacob Downing founded Very Good Law P.L.L.C. to provide clients with straightforward, responsive, and professional legal representation in criminal defense and motor vehicle injury matters.
Jacob's legal career began as an Assistant State Attorney for Florida's Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, where he prosecuted criminal cases and gained courtroom experience.
He later served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. His FBI work included investigations involving Crimes Against Children and Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs. He also served on the United States Attorney General's Protection Detail and as an FBI Certified Legal Advisor, providing legal guidance relating to federal investigations and operations.
Jacob has also served as a grader for the Florida Board of Bar Examiners.
Before founding Very Good Law, Jacob practiced plaintiff-side automobile personal injury law at Morgan & Morgan, representing people injured in motor vehicle accidents and guiding clients through the insurance-claim and pre-suit process.
